I'll show the more recent piece first since I actually like how it turned out:





Every time I try to bring back Raptor, it fails miserably. On second thought, don't click those links, especially the first one. Oh god it burns. Anyways, here is raptor falling from a building, shooting out his grappling hooks. You might be saying, "If he's so high up, what is he grappling on to?" I don't know, ask Spider-Man.

Here is that third Dizz piece I mentioned earlier:





I didn't post this right away last week because I wasn't sure if I was really done with it. I just started working in black and white last month and it makes the process of considering tones very different. I ended up desaturating my colors too much and it was tough to recoop from it. So I decided to draw Raptor in the dark too. I would say that I learned from this drawing at the very least.

I drew Dizz again. She looks a little older and a little less "magical girly." After this, there will be one more image with Dizz in it and then I'll go back to things that aren't Dizz.





This may be the first time I had tyson chicken patties and was unimpressed. I hope the entire bag isn't like this...

Well sort of...





I was getting frustrated with a couple areas of this piece (namely that perspective) and I kept skipping mp3's hoping for something good and then BAM. Space Jam. I turned up the jams and the rest is history.

I will probably draw Dizz again as she doesn't look quite like what I was going for.

Sometimes it is tough keeping this site PG-13.
2 crashes.




This took a very long time and the final file was version 20. All those saves couldn't stop painter from crashing a couple times though. My philosophy is, whenever I lose some work and I have to redo something over, I make sure to do it better than last time. The natural inclination is to just fly through it, but that is such a waste.

This thing looks real blurry on my deviantart page. I think I'll stick with this site a little while longer.

I was all set to say that I had found a new way of coloring and that this was the dawn of a new era...but I don't think that's the case. I tried coloring this in greyscale first, but I'm not sure if it's for me. I may try it again with my next piece, but that technique may be better suited for Photoshop than Painter.
