: THE DOTS ARE GONE!

After about 2 years of random dots appearing on my screen, they are FINALLY GONE! Drop down a menu, the left side of it would have almost a solid line of bright green pixels following it. Working in photoshop, they would appear all over the place as I moved my mouse/tablet pen around. It didn't REALLY get in the way while I drew, but I've just always had them. And now...NOW THEY ARE GONE AND I AM HAPPY!
However, such luxuries come at a cost. I spent a lot of time dealing with some wonderful computer issues including drivers, windows applications confusing each other, windows not starting, not being able to boot into safe mode because my new widescreen monitor stretched the startup message that says "for boot options, press: _ " and that blank is where the text cut off. Well now everything works great. I have a new video card and a new outlook on life! Well the outlook is still the same, but now there's no goddamn dots to screw it up!
Oh yeah, comic will be up tomorrow. Shazam!

Yes this is the official start of the next chapter in the world of MrBot. As you can see, all of your favorite characters are here. You may notice a slight visual difference between this and past strips. Thanks to my new monitor, I can work at a higher resolution and drawing somehow feels a little more natural. Ok go see it!

Not necessarily. I had originally planned on some flashback this week, but then I thought I should REALLY finish that drawing I started last year...so instead I'm postponing that particular flashback and keeping right on schedule for next week. I also think it was important to take a little time for retooling, character design, and story elaboration.
So what did I do this week? Well aside from copious amounts of Atelier Iris, I finally finished that Guilty Gear drawing that's essentially as old as this site. Incidentally, the current site design took a year before coming into fruition too. I need to stop doing this...Anyways, HERE IT IS! Perfect size background for you non-widescreen monitor using people.

That's what will happen in the Nintendo DS game Meteos. Of course it sure is hard to play Meteos when you're playing the PS2 rpg Atelier Iris. Work is another distraction, not to mention a certain COMIC! Speaking of which, read the new one. You may be happy to know that this strip concludes chapter 1 in the adventures of MrBot.
See, it's not just ONE adventure, there's at least two! One thing chapter 2 will rectify with the first adventure is MrBot will actually be IN more of it. There was just so much I wanted to set up and explain, now you can just watch him be an ass for no reason. Well, not in this strip at least...or the next one...enjoy! (and vote)
