. : May 2005 : .: All updates 25% off! Saturday, May 28 2005 We're back. Sorry about that last week. I hope my 2 articles kept you at least a little busy. Though if you only care about the comic, I guess you felt pretty boned. Well, luckily the latest strip is up. I'm considering a Wednesday update, but I have to see if I can get a certain someone to write consistantly as I don't like letting you guys down. : E3 Recap, part 2 Wednesday, May 25 2005 There were 2 main attractions at E3 this year. Zelda and everything else. I already wrote about everything else, so now you can read my Zelda: Twilight Princess impressions. Expect a comic this Sunday as updating gets back to its incredibly reliable schedule : Back from E3, the fun part begins! Monday, May 23 2005 If you think going to E3 is fun, try writing and compiling info for an article! It's easily 20 times better than an ice cream superbowl! Anyways, I did write an editorial about my E3 experience this year. I'm sorry that I decided to do this article instead of finish up a comic this week, but I felt it was a little more important given the time frame. Also, the whole creative slump thing. I may end up posting a comic by wednesday, or I'll just wait until Sunday. I know once a week is a slow pace for a comic with an actual story, but I don't see any more delays for the next couple months. Just...don't hold me to that. Remember, if you have any comments on the site, the comic, or even my recent E3 experience, you can always make yourself heard at the Nbrid forums. : Generic update subject Sunday, May 15 2005 Hey gang! Looks like somebody really came through with a slightly bigger update this week. Just think of it as an "Im Sorry" for updating 1 day, 2 hours late last week. Then again, if you DO think of it that way, you're a selfish ass that doesn't consider other people's feelings! Wait...Hey gang! I updated the stuff, links, and art pages this week just for you! There's moderately interesting content to be explored! Also there's a new comic up with everyone's favorite robot vampire. Hmm, did I just say vampire? I THINK I DID! Seriously though he's not a vampire. Good news everyone, there probably won't be a comic next week! I'll be in CA from Tuesday to Saturday to live out my life's dream (8 years) of going to E3 If you don't know what E3 is, well google it, sheesh. I'll most likely have all the dialogue and sketches hammered out by the time I get back, but I may show another guest comic instead of rushing a strip right when I get back home. Who knows though...maybe a few VOTES could change my mind. : It's up! Tuesday, May 10 2005 Unlike past hectic weeks, I managed to fit in the strip only moderately late. So it's Tuesday. It's still Monday in California, and technically since I'll be there in a week, this update is RIGHT ON TIME...with previous announced delays. Anyways, all I had to do was sacrifice a little sleep and studying for a final, but that's ok. Hell, I can study for the thing RIGHT BEFORE IT. Lowsy 4 hour gap between classes. Well, you got your "blog entry" a couple days ago. Now it's time to see what happens next and of course, vote twice :) Seacrest out! : Behold the iron grip of finals! Sunday, May 8 2005 If you don't want to read all this jargin, please just click here. Finals for an art major are a little different than finals for, let's say a mathmatologist major. Now if you're aiming to be a mathmatologist, first of all, you must realize that there is really no work in that field since IT DOESN'T EXIST! More importantly, art majors don't really have final tests. What they have are final assignments that have either been culminating to this point from the beginning of last month or the beginning of the whole damn semester! Case in point, my 3d animation. It's done! Wooo! I'll see if I can hyper compress it and get it online somehow. Anyways, the point is, I've been doing final assignments all week. How do you spend YOUR fridays and saturdays? I often get the comic done last minute during this time, but if I want to get home by Wednesday (last day of scheduled classes) and oh God yes I want to, then I had to get TWO projects done ahead of schedule. Well, I'm almost there, but I don't know when I can get the comic up. Right now I'm shooting for Monday. For the time being, please enjoy this guest comic by a fellow nbrid forums member, John. Hopefully he can whip up some more ms paint mastery within the coming weeks. From here on out, expect reliable updates and maybe even more color strips! Oh yeah, I go to E3 in less than 2 weeks! This um, should not affect the comic schedule. : Ahhh, my eyes! Sunday, May 1 2005 I had a relatively informative update planned for today, but I just plumb forgot what it was I was going to say. Enjoy this week's strip as I continue to explore new possibilities and accidentally push aside college homework for a week (and any chance I had at playing a videogame again). My 3D animation "Eye of Idate" has been rendering since Thursday afternoon. This is done on G5's mind you. I'll be going to the computer lab tomorrow morning (Sunday) to see if it's done. This is being done on 2 computers at once. Most people's movies render about a minute per frame. Some of mine have taken about 11 minutes. Yeah so...I got a lot of polygons, wanna fight about it? AHHH JUST READ THE COMIC ALREADY! (if you can find any text) |
