: Blue enters in his howlingly unfunny debute
Sunday, January 30 2005

Is there an E at the end of debut? I don't know but I do know that this comic is important to the overall story of MrBot. You could say that this is where the plot begins, but doing so would violate a copyright so fierce and strict, you'd lose $20 just thinking about it.

By the way, an important image goes along with this week's comic. I won't link you because you should see it AFTER the strip. So check out the strip, then head on over to the ART section. What you're looking for is the only picture under the 2005 heading. Well as of this post at least.

: Letting you down, one week at a time
Saturday, January 22 2005

As the title indicates, I do not have a comic this week. I've been sick since Tuesday and I just cannot bring myself to draw or formulate coherent dialogue in this condition. Hmm, after typing that, it seems like sort of a cop out...well the fact of the matter is that I was much MORE sick earlier this week and I decided to play Resident Evil instead of throw together a comic. You happy? Because of this I decided to show you a 45% scale version of a personal project I've been working on all winter break.

outline is likely to change a little before the finished product

Classes start up again this Monday and...well there's a good chance I won't be at that one because of the crazy ass blizzard. But TUESDAY! Oh boy you just wait! This also means that spare time is limited once again. I don't want to revert back to the quality of the first few strips so if I have to, regular updates will come when they come. Hey it's not like anyone comes here anyway...whups.

: It's all uphill from here! Or is it downhill because...
Sunday, January 9 2005

As I said earlier this week, the editorials section finally has some content in it. But don't expect things to stop with just one article! More is on the way, possibly from me, possibly from other parties. There's also a comic from someone besides me in the works...maybe. As for this week, the new comic is up and it doesn't suck that much! Go see it!

It was a busy week for con-trast this week so make sure to check out the new MrBot archive and catch yourself up with all my demanding continuity. Then find out what games probably shouldn't have won game of the year, but I liked them anyway. After that you can put one of the new con-trast.com buttons on your livejournal, myspace account, or even your professional business website! Finally, and most importantly, make sure to check out the new...oh wait we took that out.

: Con-trast's first Editorial! Games of 2004!
Wednesday, January 5 2005

Well now I see why I don't write too often. Whenever I get into something, I go overboard. Hopefully I'll have enough time to do the comic this week! HA just kidding, I won't let something like that happen. I did put a lot of time into this one so if you're looking for yet another "2004 recap" article that is sure to have a lot of surprises, please feel free to read mine.

With this article, there is now content in the editorials section. To the top right of the page you will also see 2 buttons I made up so you can link to this fine site if you feel so inclined.

Finally, I have set up a simple script allowing me to archive the Adventures of MrBot comic effortlessly. Now you just have to click on the COMIC button in the top left navigation and click on the (soon to be changed) logo. Speaking of navigation, in case you didn't know, clicking on the word "CON-TRAST" at the very top of the page brings you home.

Alright I'll see you Sunday when I have another strip up and ready for you.

: Happy New Year or something
Sunday, January 2 2005

Another year, another last minute comic update. This week was a little irritating. It took about 8 tries and 3 different methods to finally upload this strip. I starting doing things differently last week, but when I tried to improve upon that technique today, I just couldn't draw. I don't know, maybe it's because my hand hurt from bowling and carrying our Christmas tree into the backyard with one hand. It's like carrying a bottom heavy pole with lots of feathers sticking out of it. Only the feathers can blind you if you're not careful.

The strip is up and hopefully you'll enjoy it. I can't say I love how this one came out but I promise not to take TWO steps backwards. So for the most part it will just get better from here. If you don't understand something, feel free to start over from the beginning. I'd link you to an archive page but I haven't gotten to archiving them yet...

Oh yeah. I plan on doing that article soon...maybe even within a week.
